Family Fun Acrylic Pour Workshop

Have fun getting your hands dirty with our Family Fun Acrylic Pour Workshop! Let your child get in touch with their creative side and have a great time creating incredible abstract art with their favourite colours.

An easy-to-follow workshop that promises immense fun for both parent and child. Be awed at how the paint morph and change as you tilt and move the canvas. Through hands-on play and interaction with the instructor, you and your little one(s) will be able to create a fluid art painting in colours that best represents yourselves!

This is a workshop that focuses on interactive play, colour mixing and motor skills over art techniques. Suitable for children aged 4 to 10. Older children may find the Acrylic Pour Discovery Workshop more engaging for their age. No prior art experience required.

Description

Duration: 45 mins to 1 hour

NOTE: Each registration requires at least ONE adult participant to attend the class, e.g. Family of 3 should include at least one adult.

Materials and tools provided:

1 x stretched canvas (20x20cm) per person
Liquid acrylic paint (concocted with our Kids Friendly Pouring Medium)
Additive for lacing effect
Artist apron and latex gloves
Plastic cups, mixing sticks, palette knives and other tools
Complimentary light refreshment

Acrylic pour paintings will take 2 to 3 days to dry depending on the canvas size and room humidity. Participants are encouraged to drop by our studio to collect their works within two weeks, or opt for delivery at a small fee. Please check with the instructor during the workshop.
