Let loose your creative spirit with a session of art-making with us at this celebration of local arts, music and culture. Create your own unique abstract art with Acrylic Pour, a cool and trending art form where the process is just as amazing as the final work!

Choose between our popular Ceramic Dish Workshop or our quick-and-dirty Acrylic Pour Workshop.

We’re bringing back our sold-out 1-hour Ceramic Dish workshop, which is a new class that we have recently debutted. Keen to make a trinket dish with your own unique abstract pattern for yourself or as a gift? This is the workshop for you! Alternatively, get your hands dirty with our 30-minute Acrylic Pour Workshop, which is a shortened experience of our Discovery Workshop.

Both are great opportunities to try your hand at the amazing and fun process of Acrylic Pour. You’ll get to understand the origins and nature of acrylic paint. Learn about the materials and tools used. Walk through a basic pouring technique with live demonstration by the instructor followed by hands-on practice. At the end of the session, you will have your own piece of stunning abstract art to take home and bragging rights to boot!

This workshop requires no prior art background. Recommended for participants aged 6 and above. Limited seats available. Register quickly and we will see you there!

Ceramic Dish Workshop (1-hour, $60 per person)

  • 6-inch ceramic dish
  • Acrylic paint mixed with Studio Grade Pouring Medium
  • Artist apron and latex gloves
  • Plastic cups, mixing sticks, palette knives and other tools
  • Wet canvas carrier box to take the artwork home in

Acrylic Pour Workshop (30-min, $45 per person)

Includes:

  • 1 x canvas panel (postcard size)
  • Acrylic paint mixed with Studio Grade Pouring Medium
  • Artist apron and plastic gloves
  • Plastic cups, mixing sticks, palette knives and other tools
  • Wet canvas carrier box to take the artwork home in
  • Wooden desktop canvas stand
  • Includes $5 Room To Imagine voucher redeemable for products or workshops

Kindly read the terms and conditions of the art class before registering. Please note that the workshop may be postponed if a minimum attendance of 6 persons is not met. In the event of rescheduling, all guests who have registered will be notified a few days prior.

This is an outdoor street party, so this workshop will be conducted in an open space without shelter. In case of wet weather, the workshop will be rescheduled to another date at the Room To Imagine studio. All participants will be informed accordingly.

UV X celebrates 10 editions of euphoric memories with programme highlights from the past. Join us for a celebration on the streets this July at Temple Street. In a car-centric metropolis like Singapore, Urban Ventures is an independent placemaking initiative curated by LOPELAB to reclaim the streets with art, music, and culture. This is also the first carbon-neutral street activation in Singapore. Room To Imagine is hyped to be collaborating with Urban Ventures to hold our Acrylic Pour workshop at this street party, so come on down to say hi to us and join in the fun!
