We’re bringing art-making back to the beautiful LUMINE Café this September. Join us as we combine practicality with style in celebration of Mid-Autumn festival. Create a beautiful resin platter that you can use to serve up delectable mooncakes and tea, or cheese and wine if you prefer, for your family and friends.

The workshop provides a simple-to-follow walkthrough on the basics of resin art and how to create unique abstract designs with colour pigments.At the end of the session, take home a functional and beautiful piece of homeware that is guaranteed to be a conversation starter during gatherings.

*An additional 1 hour is required for the resin to set. Participants are advised to shop around or grab a bite nearby and return to collect the piece in one hour’s time.

Materials and tools provided:

  • 18 x 25cm ceramic platter
  • Use of clear epoxy resin – ArtResin (Certified non-toxic. No VOCs. No fumes.)
  • Use of colour pigments and acrylic inks
  • Artist apron and latex gloves
  • Plastic cups, mixing sticks, palette knives and other tools
  • Wet canvas carrier box to take the artwork home in
*Note: The resin used is food-safe, meaning you can place food in direct contact with it, without the need for another plate.
