Acrylic Pour Course

Delve deeper into the expressive art of acrylic pouring by signing up for a Acrylic Pour Course. Walk through both basic and advanced techniques with hands-on practice. Experiment with different types of mediums, additives and unusual tools for art-making. Enjoy personalised guidance from the instructor and interaction with a small class of no more than 8 students in a cozy home studio setting.

Practise on mini canvases and create your own unique artwork on a medium size stretched canvas with confidence at the end of each session. So unleash your creative energy and meet new friends who share your newfound passion!

The course consists of four workshops to be held on consecutive Sundays at 9.00 AM, each session lasting about 2.5 hours. No art background is required. Suitable for ages 16 and above only, as the course will involve the use of a hand torch.

Materials and tools provided:

  • 1 x stretched canvas per session
    • Choice of 12×16″ canvas OR 16″ round canvas
  • Acrylic paint
  • Variety of pouring mediums
  • Variety of additives
  • Unusual tools for different effects
  • Artist apron and plastic gloves
  • Plastic cups, mixing sticks, palette knives
  • Complimentary light refreshments

Due to the fluid and slow-drying nature of the artwork, it needs to be left in the studio to dry for 2 to 3 days. Participants may collect their artwork when they return on the following workshop session.
